Sculptural Sofas, Dubai, made to order. Designed in Paris. Crafted in the Emirates.
Explore SofasSculptural Sofas, Dubai by Saint Objets is drawn in Paris and built in the Emirates, to your dimensions and your materials. Developed the way a studio works: proportion first, then the making. Not a showroom piece, the exact one your room was waiting for.
A sculptural sofa is seen before it is sat on. Its volume has a character of its own, and the room arranges itself around it. At Saint Objets, sculptural does not mean difficult: each form is deep, soft and made to be lived on, with the authority of a piece that was drawn rather than assembled.
The Poséidon Sofa stands on a burl wood plinth, its four crests rising in Abyss velvet. The Mayfair Sofa is all sculpted ease, and the Club 89 Sofa is a modular icon that can be composed as the room requires. The Comtesse Sofa brings the proportions of a château into a single, tailored form.
Each is made to order in the Emirates and can be adapted in size and fabric. To follow the same spirit into wood, see burl furniture.
What is a sculptural sofa?
A sofa designed as a form in its own right, with a distinctive silhouette, rather than as a neutral background.
Are sculptural sofas comfortable?
Yes. Each is built on a hardwood structure with layered high-resilience foams, so that the form is as comfortable as it is striking.
Can a sculptural sofa be made in another fabric?
Yes. The fabric is chosen with the studio, and the sofa is made to order.
A sofa is not a seat. It is the centre of the room.
Made to order, designed in Paris, crafted in the Emirates.
Proportioned to your space, built to your dimensions, finished in the materials you choose.
Commission a SofaSaint Objets is a French furniture studio in Dubai. Designed in Paris, crafted in the Emirates. Every sofa begins as a drawing, not a catalogue number, developed for the way a room is actually lived in.
Sculptural Sofas, Dubai: made to order means the sofa is built to your proportions and your materials. Performance velvet, boucle and linen, selected for Dubai light and daily life, so a sculptural sofa keeps its shape and its presence for years across the UAE.
A sculptural sofa is a piece defined by volume and silhouette: a curve that sweeps, an arm that rolls, a back that rises as a single form. It is designed to be seen from every side of the room, and to be as comfortable as it is composed.
Saint Objets draws these sofas in Paris and builds them in the Emirates, bespoke, custom made and made to order. The curve can be lengthened, the module added, the radius adjusted to the plan.
A curved frame is cut and joined in solid wood, then shaped with layered foam so the outline stays clean over time. The upholstery follows the line without a visible compromise at the seam.
The fabric changes how the form reads: velvet deepens the curve, boucle softens it, linen keeps it light. The studio helps you choose for the light of the room.
What is a sculptural sofa?
A sofa whose form is its main feature, with curved or sweeping volumes designed to hold a room as an object does.
Can a sculptural sofa be made to my dimensions?
Yes. Length, depth, radius and the number of modules are set at the drawing stage.
What fabric works on a curved sofa?
Velvet, boucle and linen all follow a curve well. The choice depends on the look and the light of the room.
How long does it take?
Ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, the number of pieces and the availability of the chosen fabric.
