A high end sofa is judged on what lies beneath the fabric. Each Saint Objets sofa is built on a solid hardwood structure, layered with variable-density high-resilience foams for support and recovery, and upholstered and finished by hand. The fabric is chosen last, and chosen carefully: cotton velvet, Belgian linen or performance bouclé.

The Poséidon Sofa rises in four crests of deep Abyss velvet on a burl wood plinth. The Comtesse Sofa offers a contemporary reading of French château upholstery, the Hôtel de Rome Sofa and the Mayfair Sofa recall the easy, low culture of the vintage lounge, and the Serpenti Sofa draws a single sweeping curve.
