Poséidon Sofa.

Poséidon is a sofa drawn as a rising tide.

The back lifts and falls in four crests that roll into the arms, so the sofa reads as one movement rather than as parts. Beneath it the seat stays long, deep and low, a calm held under the swell.

The velvet is the blue of water far below the light. It catches each crest and lets every trough fall dark, and the surface changes with the hours of the day.

It stands on a plinth of burl wood, its knotted grain warm against all that depth, like driftwood left on a shore. Named after the god of the sea.

Handcrafted and made to order in the Emirates.

ABYSSE

A deep, nocturnal blue, where the light gives out. Dense, calm, almost black, with the faint glint of velvet moving in the dark.
