Custom Sofas, Dubai: made to order means the sofa is built to your proportions and your materials. Performance velvet, boucle and linen, selected for Dubai light and daily life, so a sculptural sofa keeps its shape and its presence for years across the UAE.
The three words are used interchangeably in Dubai and they mean different things. Custom usually means a catalogue model in a chosen fabric. Made to order means the piece is built after you order it, in your dimensions. Bespoke means the piece is drawn for your room before anything is built. Saint Objets works made to order as standard and bespoke on commission, and the difference matters commercially: a made to order piece follows a proven line, a bespoke piece begins with a drawing and a conversation about the room it will live in.
Which do I need?
If a catalogue silhouette works in your room, made to order is faster and costs less. If the room is unusual, bespoke saves you from a compromise you will see every day.
Can I change the dimensions of a catalogue piece?
Yes, within what the line allows. Some silhouettes hold at any width, others lose their proportion when stretched.
Do you visit to measure?
Yes. Measuring on site is the only reliable way to draw for a specific room.
