Comtesse Sofa.

Comtesse is generous by intention.

Its silhouette is built around one continuous deep bench cushion, three softly structured back cushions and sculptural arms that rise in a restrained wave from the body of the sofa.

Fine piping follows the arms, seat and upholstery, sharpening the silhouette without making it rigid.

A full tailored skirt falls to the floor and conceals the base, softening the architecture of the sofa. The back is fully upholstered, allowing Comtesse to sit freely within a room rather than against a wall.

Its depth is deliberately generous, designed for long sitting, conversation and reclining.

Comtesse draws from the proportions and upholstery traditions of French country houses without reproducing historical furniture literally.
