Bespoke Sofas, UAE.

Saint Objets is a French furniture studio in Dubai. Designed in Paris, crafted in the Emirates. Every sofa begins as a drawing, not a catalogue number, developed for the way a room is actually lived in.

Bespoke Sofas, UAE: made to order means the sofa is built to your proportions and your materials. Performance velvet, boucle and linen, selected for Dubai light and daily life, so a sculptural sofa keeps its shape and its presence for years across the UAE.

A sofa in the Emirates lives in air conditioning nine months of the year and in humidity the rest. That single fact changes the specification. Kiln dried timber holds its line where green timber moves. Foam density decides whether a seat still supports at year five or has quietly collapsed into a hollow. Fabric chosen for touch alone can fade against long hours of direct light through wide glazing. Saint Objets specifies for the room the sofa will actually live in, and the figures are given before the order rather than after the complaint.

Does air conditioning damage a sofa?
Not a well built one. Dry air moves poorly dried timber, which is why the frame specification matters more here than in Europe.

What foam density lasts?
Higher density in the seat, softer in the back. The exact figures are given for the piece rather than quoted as a slogan.

Do you deliver across the Emirates?
Yes, across the UAE. Delivery is included on Dubai and Abu Dhabi commissions.

A bespoke sofa is a piece defined by its volume, its silhouette and the room it was drawn for. The width follows the wall, the depth follows the person who will sit in it, the height follows the window. Nothing is taken from a shelf and adjusted afterwards.

Saint Objets designs each sofa in Paris and builds it in the Emirates, bespoke, custom made and made to order. You choose the silhouette, the studio sets the dimensions, the fabric and the finish with you, and the sofa is upholstered once, for you.

The commission begins with a plan or a set of measurements: the wall, the door, the lift, the stair. From that the studio proposes a drawing and a fabric, and each stage is approved in writing before the frame is cut.

The frame is solid wood, the springs and foam are set for the weight and the habits of the household, and the cloth is chosen for Dubai light: velvet that holds its colour, boucle that keeps its relief, linen that softens without losing its line. Delivery and placement are confirmed with you, never assumed.

What is a bespoke sofa?
A sofa drawn and built for one room: its dimensions, proportions, fabric and finish are decided with you rather than selected from fixed sizes.

Is bespoke the same as custom made or made to order?
At Saint Objets the three describe one gesture. You choose a silhouette, then the studio sets the size, the cloth and the finish to your room, and builds it to order in the Emirates.

Can a sofa be made to my exact dimensions?
Yes. Width, depth, height and the number of seats can be set at the drawing stage, including curved and modular compositions.

How long does a bespoke sofa take?
Ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, the number of pieces and the availability of the chosen fabric.
