By the rise and collapse of a wave. By shells and soft bodies. By currents that bend, carry and reshape. By depths where colour becomes dense, mineral and difficult to name.

Beneath the surface, life escapes the geometry of the world above. Bodies drift, swell, curl and fold. Creatures take on forms that seem imagined. Light behaves differently. Colour changes with distance. Nothing is entirely still.

Abyssal begins there.
