The Commission Process
Every Saint Objets piece is made to order. Here is exactly what happens between the first conversation and the piece arriving in your room.
1. Brief
Share floor plan dimensions, ceiling height, room photographs (morning, midday, evening light), and three sensory adjectives for the piece.
2. Studio proposal
Within 5 working days the studio returns: a silhouette sketch, material specification, dimensional drawing, and lead time.
3. Material sign-off
Material swatches shipped to your address in Dubai. Approval in-room, under the light of the space.
4. Production
Structured updates at three stages: frame, upholstery, finishing.
5. White-glove delivery
Elevator dimensions verified pre-delivery. Concierge coordination where required. Packaging removed.
Typical lead times
- Pet furniture: 10-15 working days
- Upholstered sofas and armchairs: 10-12 weeks
- Beds and headboards: 8-10 weeks
- Rugs: 10-14 weeks
- Sculptural statement pieces: 12-16 weeks
Deposit and payment
50% deposit to begin production. 50% balance before dispatch. Card, bank transfer, or Tabby instalments.

How long from first contact to delivery?
Brief stage: 1-3 days. Proposal approval: 1-2 days. Production: 15-25 working days. Total from first email to delivery: typically 4-6 weeks.
Do I need to visit the studio?
No. Commissions are completed remotely via email and video call. Physical swatches sent by post. Studio visits available by appointment.
What if I need to change the brief after approval?
Minor adjustments within the first 5 working days of production can be accommodated. Changes after that require a new commission. Documented clearly before the deposit is taken.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. 50% deposit on commission approval. Balance on delivery. Card, bank transfer, or cash at the studio.
