Photographs decide very little. Proportion, weight, the way a cloth takes the light, the depth of a seat against your own back: these are decided in person. You are welcome to see the pieces, feel the cloth, and talk your room through with a designer. The consultation is complimentary, and nothing is expected of you. Do I need an appointment?
Not for the showroom at Art of Living Mall, you are welcome to walk in. The studio at Dubai Design District receives clients by appointment only. For a consultation with a designer, an appointment is better, so the time is held for you.
What does the consultation cost?
Nothing. The design consultation is complimentary, and nothing is expected of you afterwards.
Can I see the cloth?
Yes. The cloth library is in the showroom, and a swatch decides more in the hand than on a screen. Bring a photograph of your room, or a plan if you have one.
Can I meet Sarah Koben?
Appointments with Sarah Koben, Founder and Creative Director, can be arranged on request.
Can I order from the showroom?
Yes. Every piece is made to order, so a different dimension or a different cloth is drawn on the spot and quoted against the drawing.
How long will a commission take?
Ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, the number of pieces and the availability of the chosen cloth. Complimentary delivery and assembly within Dubai on orders above AED 4,000.
