Linen behaves differently here.
Linen is the cloth people fall in love with in a showroom and question after a summer. It creases, and it is meant to. What matters in Dubai is the weight and the weave: a loose open linen relaxes quickly and shows every mark, a heavier upholstery grade linen holds its line and cleans. Belgian linen is worth its reputation for the fibre length, which is what stops it pilling. Ask for the weight in grams and the abrasion figure before choosing, and treat the crease as the character rather than the defect.
