Saint Objets makes daybeds to order in Dubai, scaled and upholstered for the room, then crafted in the Emirates.
Drawn to your room.
Each piece is decided in proportion first, then upholstered to sit with the rest of the room.
Fabric and finish.
Upholstery is selected from curated European collections, including French and Belgian mills, chosen for texture, colour depth and suitability for the project.

The piece that solves a room nobody knows what to do with.
A daybed belongs to the space that is neither a bedroom nor a living room: the formal reception, the wide landing, the terrace room, the study that also hosts. It reads as furniture rather than as a bed, which is why it works where a spare bed would feel wrong. The proportion is what makes it: too deep and it becomes a mattress on legs, too shallow and nobody lies on it. Saint Objets draws daybeds to the wall they sit against, with a back or a bolster depending on whether the room is for sitting or for lying.
Questions.
Can a daybed take a standard mattress?
Yes, and it is often the better answer if guests actually sleep on it. The frame is drawn to the mattress.
Bolsters or a fixed back?
Bolsters for a room that changes use, a fixed back where it functions as seating first.
Is it suitable for a terrace?
Yes, with an outdoor specification: solution dyed fabric and a frame built for exposure.
A daybed is defined by its double life.
A daybed is a piece defined by two uses: a seat by day and a bed when needed. It belongs to the room with no fixed purpose, a study, a landing, a terrace room, and it reads as furniture first.
Saint Objets draws its daybeds in Paris and builds them in the Emirates, bespoke, custom made and made to order, to the length and depth of your room.
Comfort for both uses.
The seat must be firm enough to sit on and soft enough to sleep on, so the foam and the base are set for both. The upholstery is chosen with you, in a fabric that can take daily use.
A daybed can be drawn with a back, with arms or open, in a length that suits the wall. Matching cushions and a bolster complete it.
More questions.
What is a daybed used for?
As a sofa by day and a guest bed when needed, in rooms that are neither a bedroom nor a living room.
Can a daybed be made to my size?
Yes. Length, depth and the shape of the back and arms are set at the drawing stage.
Can I choose the fabric?
Yes. Fabrics are chosen with you from the studio's European selection.
How long does it take?
Ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, the number of pieces and the availability of the chosen fabric.
