A corner unit is a circulation decision.
A corner sofa fills a corner, which sounds obvious and is where most of them go wrong. Pushed into a corner it kills two walls and forces everyone to walk around it. Used properly it defines a zone in an open plan, standing away from the wall with its back becoming the edge of the living area. In Dubai apartments with one long open volume, that is usually the better use.
