The Rue de Seine Chest of Drawers is drawn as a single, continuous block, with softly turned corners and rolled edges that leave no sharp line to interrupt its volume. Three full-width drawers sit flush within it, each opened by a shallow pull cut into its upper edge, a gesture that reads as shadow rather than hardware.

Across the top, the sides and every drawer front, natural burl veneer unfolds in clusters of fine eyes that gather and release, so that the surface seems to move with the light.

Two softly rounded feet lift the volume just above the floor, lending it a quiet lightness beneath its generous presence. Even the back is finished, in a plain, pale timber, so that the chest may stand free in a room as easily as against a wall.

Fine dark stripes running through the grain. Graphic and rhythmic.
