Made-to-measure Roman blinds in Dubai with contrast border and tassels

Tailored, relaxed or decorative.

Roman blinds can be clean and architectural or deliberately decorative. Options include plain hems, contrast borders, relaxed folds, shaped lower edges and tassels. We confirm the proportion, lining and fold style before production so the textile sits correctly when raised and lowered.

Made to measure.

Each window is measured individually. Fabric opacity, privacy, blackout requirements and fitting method are discussed before the quotation is finalised. Measurement and fitting are arranged by appointment in Dubai and across the UAE.

Fabric, lining and light control.

The choice of fabric changes how a Roman blind folds, holds its shape and filters light. Linen and linen-look cloths give a softer, more relaxed surface; denser fabrics create a more tailored face. Where stronger light control is required, the lining is specified with the room in mind. Bedrooms may need blackout performance, while living rooms often benefit from privacy and filtered daylight.

We consider the width of the opening, the position of the mechanism and the relationship between the blind and surrounding joinery before confirming the specification. The aim is a proportion that feels deliberate when the blind is fully lowered and when the folds are stacked above the window.

Details that change the character.

A plain Roman blind can sit quietly within a contemporary room. Contrast borders, piping, tassels and shaped hems can give the same construction a more decorative presence. Relaxed Roman blinds introduce softer folds, while tailored versions create a straighter lower edge and more regular stack.

For kitchens, bedrooms and smaller windows, Roman blinds can offer a compact textile solution where full-height curtains would add more volume than the room needs. On larger projects, they can also be combined with curtains and sheers as part of one coordinated window treatment.

Saint Objets works with private homes, designers and project teams across Dubai and the UAE. A quotation begins with photographs of the window, approximate dimensions, your location and the level of privacy or light control required. Final measurements are confirmed before making.

Projects can be developed from a single blind through to a full residence. The studio can coordinate fabrics across Roman blinds, curtains, upholstered furniture and decorative details so the window treatment belongs to the wider room.
