An armchair stands away from the wall, so it is seen from every side and the back matters as much as the front.
L’Écrin closes its arms and back in a single squared block, lifted on a solid wood plinth, with two loose bolsters where the elbow lands. Hôtel de Rome sits low, its volumes full, the armchair of the modular sofa. Le Marais and Rue de Sèvres complete the collection, each in its own proportion.
Inside, a solid hardwood frame and layered foams of different densities, shaped so the seat gives the feel of memory foam while keeping its line. Our spring seat, developed in the studio, is fitted as standard on L’Écrin and available as an option on the others. Made to order in the Emirates, in the fabric chosen for the room.
