Palamède Lounge Chair.

Palamède is a compact armless lounge chair defined by fine-scale checkerboard upholstery and a low, architectural silhouette. Its deep, softly cushioned seat rests above a smaller, fully upholstered recessed plinth, forming two balanced horizontal volumes. The backrest is gently inclined.

Contrasting velvet piping follows the seat's upper perimeter and the outline of the backrest, leaving the upholstered side panels clean and uninterrupted. The entire base is covered in matching checkerboard fabric, without visible legs or exposed wood.

Named after Palamède, the figure from Greek tradition associated with games of strategy, the chair draws its character from the repetition of its fine checkerboard and the contrast between velvet and woven ground.

AQUA

Dusty aqua-blue and deep olive-green velvet squares alternate against natural ecru. The piping is dark forest-green velvet.

SANGRIA

Deep burgundy and warm cognac velvet squares meet a natural ecru woven ground. The piping is dark eggplant velvet.

Signature Checkerboard Velvet: a closely spaced checkerboard composed of soft, light-catching velvet squares and a contrasting, finely woven ecru ground. The velvet and woven surfaces have distinct tactile finishes. Authentic photographs of both original fabric samples appear at the end of the image gallery. Alternative upholstery can be discussed upon request.
