A low, generous lovebird drawn almost as a circle. Saint-Tropez wraps around the body rather than asking it to sit formally. Wide stripes accentuate the volume, while contrast piping traces the curve like a line drawn by hand.

One hundred and eighty centimetres across, it holds two people, a book and an afternoon. The backrest rises from the base in a single soft gesture and stops where the sun begins. By the water, under the olive trees, at the edge of the terrace: the piece finds its axis in any room without walls.
