Commission Joinery
One hand,
from door to wardrobe.
Bespoke joinery by Saint Objets begins where most joinery stops: at the threshold. Interior doors, wardrobes, panelling and kitchens are drawn in Paris as one language and made to order in the Emirates, to the millimetre of the room, so the home reads as a single thought. Bespoke Joinery, Dubai · Made to order
Saint Objets is a French furniture studio in Dubai Design District, Building 7, received by appointment. Bespoke joinery is drawn in Paris and made to order in the Emirates, to the millimetre of the room, for private residences across Dubai and the UAE.
Bespoke Joinery, Dubai: one language across the home. Interior doors, dressing rooms, panelling and kitchens are developed with architects and contractors as a single set of drawings, then delivered and installed by appointment, so every room answers the one before it.
One language
Saint Objets composes whole-home joinery in a single design language: pale oak, smoked glass, travertine and brass details, with integrated lighting where the drawing calls for it. These are decisions made for the home as a whole, not options taken from a catalogue.
Doors, wardrobes, panelling and kitchens share the same grain direction, the same reveals and the same hardware, so a corridor of wardrobes and the kitchen beyond it read as one architectural thought.
Material direction is developed alongside the drawings, so the joinery carries the same intention as the rooms it serves.
Bespoke joinery by Saint Objets is drawn in Paris and made to order in the Emirates, developed with architects and contractors so the whole home speaks one language.
Questions
- What can a joinery commission cover?
- A commission can cover a single wall of wardrobes or the joinery of an entire home: interior doors, dressing rooms, panelling, kitchens, libraries and media walls. Each element is drawn in Paris as part of one language, so handles, reveals and finishes read consistently from room to room.
- Does Saint Objets work with architects and contractors?
- Yes. The studio regularly works alongside architects, interior designers and main contractors. We develop joinery drawings that sit within the wider architectural set, attend site meetings when needed and coordinate our installation with the project programme, so the joinery arrives as a considered part of the build rather than an afterthought.
- What drawings will I receive before production?
- Every commission is drawn in Paris before anything is made. You review elevations and detail drawings that fix dimensions, internal layouts, materials and hardware to the millimetre of your room. Production only begins once the drawings are approved, with full payment at order confirmation.
- How is site coordination handled?
- Site measurements are taken before production so each piece is made to the millimetre of the finished room. Installation is arranged by appointment and sequenced with your contractor where other trades are on site. Complimentary white-glove delivery and assembly applies across the UAE on orders above AED 4,000, with a flat AED 250 below.
- How long does a joinery commission take?
- Lead times are confirmed at commission, once drawings are approved and the scope is fixed. Whole-home programmes are usually phased room by room so installation can follow your project schedule. Every piece is made to order in the Emirates, and each commission is covered by the Saint Objets structural warranty, terms on the Warranty and Aftercare page.
