Generous arms and two bolster cushions frame a deep seat. The low wooden plinth lifts the whole volume clear of the floor, so the chair reads as one block set down rather than a seat on legs.

This specification is L’Écrin upholstered in Pierre Frey Bohème, colourway Quartz. The waves are cut into the pile of a cotton velvet, so the pattern carries relief and turns with the light: rose over deep brown, paler in the morning, warmer at the end of the day.
