The terrace has a season,
and it is short.

In Dubai the outdoor months run roughly from November to March. That is about five months in which a pool deck, a terrace or a garden is genuinely usable from morning to evening. Everything ordered after the season starts arrives into a season that is already running down.

A made to order piece takes ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, the number of pieces and the availability of the chosen cloth. Commissioning in the weeks before the cool season is what turns that into a full season of use rather than a partial one.

Terraces are rarely furnished with a single object. A pair of sunbeds and a low table is a small commission on paper and a complete change to how the outside of a house is used.

On a made to order piece nothing is cut until the cloth is signed off. Romarin and Cap Sand are specified for the setting, and that choice is what sets the date.

The question the studio is asked most often in the autumn is whether there is still time. The honest answer is arithmetic rather than salesmanship. Production runs ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, the number of pieces and the availability of the chosen cloth. Material sign off happens before production begins, and swatches can be seen in the light of the terrace itself rather than under a showroom lamp, which adds days that are worth spending.

Ordering in September or October means the pieces are in place for the opening of the season. Ordering in January means arriving for its final weeks. Neither is wrong, but they are different decisions, and it is better to make them knowingly. There is a second reason to commission early. Cloth availability is real and it moves. A colourway that is in the library in October is not guaranteed to be there in February, and on a made to order piece the cloth is chosen before anything is cut. Deciding early is what protects the colourway you actually wanted.

Materials.

Outdoor upholstery is specified for sun, humidity and daily terrace use according to the brief, and the studio states what the chosen cloth is rated for before the order is confirmed.

The outdoor stripe is offered in two colourways, Cap Sand and Romarin.

Complimentary delivery and assembly within Dubai on orders above AED 4,000. A two year structural warranty covers the frame against verified manufacturing defects.
