Can Saint Objets build full-height bookshelves?

Yes. Full-height shelving is drawn in Paris and made to order in the Emirates, to the millimetre of the room, from skirting to ceiling. The wall reads as one quiet grid, with bay widths and shelf rhythm set around your books and objects rather than a standard module.

Which materials does the studio work in?

Bookshelves are designed with the same language as the furniture: pale oak, smoked glass, travertine and brass details, composed as a design language rather than a fixed menu. Material direction is developed with the drawing, so the shelving carries the same intention as the pieces it will hold.

Can lighting be integrated into the shelving?

Yes. Integrated lighting is drawn into the grid from the first sketch, placed to light objects and spines rather than the room. It is resolved as part of the joinery, not added afterwards, so the wall reads calmly by day and becomes a quiet gallery after dark.

How should a bespoke bookshelf be styled?

The grid is drawn to hold more than books: deeper bays for objects, closed volumes below for what should disappear, open shelves at eye level for what deserves light. The proportions do the composing, so the wall stays quiet even when the collection grows and changes over the years.

How does a bookshelf commission work?

The studio receives by appointment at Dubai Design District, Building 7. Each commission is drawn in Paris and made to order in the Emirates, with lead times confirmed at commission and full payment at order confirmation. Delivery and assembly are complimentary across the UAE on orders above AED 4,000.
