Commission Cabinetry

A desk drawn into the wall,
a room that keeps its calm.

Office cabinetry by Saint Objets turns the working wall of a home into architecture: a desk held in the joinery, storage that disappears behind full height doors, shelving composed to look right on camera. Drawn in Paris, made to order in the Emirates, to the millimetre of the room. Also see: bespoke cabinetry and built-in wardrobes, or begin through our design services.

The Quiet Study

A guest room that works for a living: the desk sits in the wall, and everything else sits behind it.

Questions

Can Saint Objets build a desk into the wall?
Yes. The desk is drawn as part of the joinery itself, its worktop, cable routing and knee clearance set to your wall and your chair. Drawn in Paris and made to order in the Emirates, it reads as architecture rather than a piece of freestanding office furniture.
How does the storage stay invisible?
Files, printers and reference boxes live behind full height doors that continue the line of the wall. Push catches or discreet brass pulls keep the elevation quiet, so when the working day ends the doors close and the room returns to being a room.
How are cables and chargers handled?
Cable routing is planned at the drawing stage, not after installation. Channels inside the joinery carry power to the worktop, screens and lamps, with sockets placed where the hand expects them. Nothing trails across the floor, and every charger has a drawer of its own.
Can the cabinetry work as a video call backdrop?
Yes, and it is often the brief. Shelving proportions, integrated lighting and the balance of open and closed storage are composed for the camera as much as for the room, so what appears behind you on screen is calm, ordered and unmistakably yours.
How does a commission begin?
It begins with a conversation at our Dubai Design District studio, Building 7, by appointment. The piece is drawn in Paris and made to order in the Emirates to the millimetre of your room, with lead times confirmed at commission and full payment at order confirmation.
