The distance between the drawing and the workshop is deliberately short. A curve can be corrected. A seat can be deepened. A seam can move.

Saint Objets is a French furniture and window treatment studio in Dubai, led by Sarah Koben, Founder and Creative Director. The same studio makes the furniture and the curtains, blinds and pelmets that dress the room, so fabric, proportion and light are decided together.

Every piece is made to order in the Emirates. Dimensions, fabrics and finishes are specified piece by piece, and a customer's own material (COM) can be used.
Furniture lead time is ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, the number of pieces and the availability of the chosen fabric. *Timelines may vary depending on the availability and inbound delivery of the selected fabric. Rugs are three to five weeks, made by hand in India by generational artisans.
Made to Order
Nothing sits in a warehouse. Each piece is cut when it is ordered.
A solid hardwood frame is built first. Elastic webbing is stretched across it as standard. Foams of different densities are layered over the suspension and shaped so the seat gives the feel of memory foam while keeping its line. Our exclusive spring seat, developed and prototyped in the studio, is available as an option for a deeper, slower sit.
The fabric is cut once the dimensions are confirmed on the drawing, and each piece is upholstered and finished by hand.

Commission consultations for bespoke sofas, armchairs, headboards, beds, rugs, and dog beds are held at the showroom, at the studio or by video call.

The design studio in Dubai Design District operates by appointment. Commission consultations are held in-studio or by video call. Physical swatches sent by post for clients outside Dubai.
Can I commission without visiting the studio?
Yes. Most commissions are completed entirely remotely via email and video call. Room dimensions, mood references, and a brief are sufficient to begin.
Are you French or UAE?
Both. Sarah Koben is French, born in Normandy and trained in Paris. The studio is in Dubai and the furniture is made in the Emirates.
Do you work with interior designers and hospitality projects?
Yes. Trade pricing available on qualifying projects. Contact the studio with your firm and brief details.
Does Saint Objets make curtains and blinds as well as furniture?
Yes. Saint Objets is a French furniture and window treatment studio in Dubai. Alongside the furniture, it designs and makes curtains, sheers, blackout curtains, Roman and roller blinds and pelmets. Curtains take an average of seven days, or three to five days with Express for eligible projects. Installation is always included, and each curtain project begins with a complimentary interior design consultation with the Creative Director.
Do you take on larger projects?
Yes. For larger residential, hospitality and commercial projects, Saint Objets works with an architect. Furniture lead time is ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, and is confirmed in the quotation.
Do you deliver to Saudi Arabia and the GCC?
On request. Delivery to Saudi Arabia and the other GCC countries is arranged after a pre-consultation with the studio, because it depends on the weight, the volume and the destination of the pieces.
