L’Écrin Armchair, Pierre Frey Simbel Menthe.

Generous arms and two bolster cushions frame a deep seat. The low wooden plinth lifts the whole volume clear of the floor, so the chair reads as one block set down rather than a seat on legs.

This specification is L’Écrin upholstered in Pierre Frey Simbel, colourway Menthe: a soft green semi plain, matt and bright threads together, chenille for the hand and a guipé thread for the sheen. Nothing to match across the panels, so the eye stays on the volume.

Handcrafted and made to order in Dubai, as part of the Saint Objets Pierre Frey Collection.
