Materials Chosen for Longevity
Saint Objets works in solid hardwood, oak, walnut, and ash selected for grain and structural integrity. Upholstery is sourced from natural leather tanneries and hand-tufted wool mills. Frames are finished with oils and waxes, not veneers or laminates.

Every piece is made to order. Dimensions, materials, and finishes are adjusted to the room. Lead time is six to ten weeks from commission confirmation.

Is OEKO-TEX the same as organic?
No. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 tests finished textiles for harmful substances, dyes, finishes, heavy metals, formaldehyde, regardless of fibre origin. It is a safety certification, independently verified annually.
Is performance velvet sustainable?
Performance velvet and refined vegan leather last significantly longer under heavy use than many natural-fibre alternatives, which reduces replacement frequency. The tradeoff is synthetic origin versus longer usable life.
