Saint Objets pieces are made to order. That changes what returns mean. Here is the clear policy.

Made-to-order commissions

Because every Saint Objets piece is produced specifically for your commission, made-to-order commissions are not eligible for standard returns. The material-swatch sign-off step prevents fabric or colour surprises at delivery.

What is covered

  • Manufacturing defect, studio repairs or replaces at no cost
  • Transport damage, reported within 48 hours, repaired or replaced at no cost
  • Dimension error, if piece does not match signed-off drawing, re-specified at no cost
  • Material mismatch, if fabric does not match signed-off swatch, re-upholstered at no cost

What is not covered

  • Change of mind after material sign-off
  • Damage from misuse, pets, or improper cleaning
  • Natural fabric characteristics, linen creasing, bouclé shedding in first weeks
  • Colour shifts from prolonged direct sunlight

Ex-stock pieces: 14-day return window from delivery, original condition and packaging. Return logistics at client's cost.

Contact the studio within 48 hours of delivery with commission reference, photographs, and a short description. Studio response within 2 working days.

Can I return a Saint Objets piece?

What if the piece is defective?

Manufacturing defects, stitching, frame, cushion, are repaired or replaced at no cost. Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos. The studio coordinates at its expense.

What if the piece was damaged in transit?

Transport damage reported within 48 hours is covered. The studio coordinates repair or replacement with no cost to the client.

What if the dimensions are wrong?

If the delivered piece does not match the signed-off drawing, the studio re-produces or modifies at no cost. This is why a detailed brief is documented and approved before production begins.

What if I change my mind after ordering?

Minor adjustments (colourway, configuration) can be accommodated within the first 5 working days of production. After that, the piece is in production and a change constitutes a new commission.
