A pure linen in thirty mineral colours, for the skirts, covers and curtains of the pieces to come.
Le Trianon is our linen chapter, named for the house where a queen set silk aside for muslin and linen. A pure linen, washed soft, in thirty colours drawn from stone, chalk, clay and moss, with a few deeper notes. It is woven for the dressed parts of a piece: the gathered skirt of a sofa, a loose cover, a headboard, a curtain, a cushion. The seats beneath take a performance fabric from the other chapters.
A pure linen, washed until it falls soft, in a palette drawn from the ground rather than the garden: chalk, stone, putty, clay, slate, with a few deeper notes of terra, denim and laurel. Linen takes dye unevenly and keeps a little of the flax in every colour, which is why the neutrals here read mineral rather than sweet. It is woven for the dressed parts of a piece, the skirt that falls to the floor, the loose cover, the curtain, and it asks for a performance fabric beneath it on the seat.

Every reference in this chapter is 100 percent linen, certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and PFAS-free, woven for drapery and rated at 10,000 rubs: for skirts, loose covers, curtains, headboards and cushions, not for seat cushions. Colour and texture are best experienced in person. Please confirm your selection with a physical sample before ordering.
