What does biophilic furniture mean?
Biophilic design connects an interior to the natural world through form, material, and palette. Saint Objets approaches biophilic pieces with European-sourced natural fibres where appropriate, plant-based vegan leather, structural wood, and a colour palette drawn from material context. Function and material lead, not theme.
Are the materials sustainable?
Where the term is meaningfully defendable, yes. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics. Plant-based vegan leather. European supply chain. Made-to-order production model that eliminates inventory waste. We use the word sustainable only where the documentation supports it.
Are the materials safe for pets and children?
Yes. Performance velvet, bouclé, refined vegan leather, and Belgian linen on request are all OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Pet-safe and child-safe by default. The studio shares certification numbers on request.
Are the pieces made locally?
Production is in the Emirates. Fabrics and core materials are sourced from European mills with documented supply chain transparency.
How do I commission?
By private appointment in Dubai or studio@saintobjets.com. Lead time fifteen to thirty-five working days depending on configuration.
