Saint Objets is a French studio in Dubai that builds each piece to order, which removes the overproduction and warehouse surplus baked into mass furniture. There is no stock: nothing is made in advance, and a piece exists only once someone has asked for it.
One sofa is made for one home, and because frames are built to be kept and re-covered rather than discarded, the most sustainable object is often the one you never replace. Durability, not a slogan, is where the real environmental saving sits.
Made Locally, Delivered Close.
Where a piece is made matters too. Everything is made locally, in our own atelier in the Emirates, rather than imported from factories across the world. The piece travels from the atelier directly to the client's home, a short journey that carries far less transport than a sofa shipped in from overseas.
We will not dress that up as a number or call it carbon neutral, but a local piece delivered down the road is simply lighter on transport than one that crossed oceans to reach you.
Materials You Can Live With.
Materials matter as much as method. We work with safe, non-toxic materials chosen for low chemical emissions indoors, because preserving a healthy home environment matters deeply to us, so the piece is healthier to live with day to day.
Upholstery is selected from curated European collections and includes OEKO-TEX certified fabrics. We prefer high-performance, hospitality-grade textiles because a fabric that resists wear and cleans well is a fabric that keeps a piece in service instead of in landfill.
What We Can Actually Show.
None of this is a marketing posture; it is a personal conviction of Sarah Koben, our Creative Director, who built the studio around the idea that a piece should be made only when it is wanted, made close to home, and made to be lived with safely for a long time. A sceptical reader is right to distrust "eco" as an empty word, and we avoid absolutes like zero impact or carbon neutral because no honest maker can prove them.
