What the Time Is For
At Saint Objets a sofa starts with the room. Its measurements, its light, the way it is lived in. Every decision after that is made for that room and no other:
- The frame is built to your dimensions
- The seat is tuned to the way you sit
- The cloth is chosen for your light, your household and your wear
Ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, the number of pieces and the availability of the chosen cloth. That is the whole of the time, and all of it is making.
Comfort and Cloth
Comfort is specified before it is ever felt. Three things carry it:
- The frame
- The suspension
- The seat and the cushion feel
The materials are toxic-free, with low chemical emissions. The cloths come from curated European collections, high-performance and hospitality-grade, held to the standard our hospitality projects and our interior-architecture collaboration with NOYA are held to. Where the certificate is available for the chosen cloth, OEKO-TEX travels with the order. A twelve month structural warranty covers the frame.
Nothing Is Built Before It Is Wanted
No stock is held. There is no importer, no distributor, no warehouse, no ocean crossing before a client has asked for a piece. The path from the workshop to the room is short. Nothing is lost along the way, so nothing has to be taken out of the piece to make up for it.

- The install date is agreed before the first cut
Because the piece is made for one room, an order cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once it is confirmed. That is what the samples are for.
