Saint Objets holds no stock. A piece is made once it is ordered, in our own atelier in the Emirates, then carried the short road from that atelier to the home it was made for. Ten to thirty days, according to the scale of the project, the number of pieces and the availability of the chosen fabric. One sofa, one home.

Responsible furnishing begins before anything is cut. We build nothing on speculation.
What that removes:

Nothing is lost along the way, so nothing has to be taken out of the piece to make up for it.
Made Close to Where You Live.
Designed in Paris. Crafted in the Emirates. The frame is built and the fabric is cut in our own atelier, a short drive from the rooms these pieces are made for. Nothing crosses an ocean, and no importer or distributor stands in between.
Proximity is also control. A studio that can walk into its own workshop sees the frame before the fabric goes over it.
Built to Be Kept.
Longevity does the rest of the work. Hospitality-grade fabric takes daily life. The frame carries a two year structural warranty.

A piece that is kept and repaired asks nothing new of the world. Rugs keep their own clock: three to five weeks, made by hand in India by generational artisans with more than sixty years behind them. A rug cannot be hurried.
