The bed is what sits between the two: its frame, its headboard and the space it leaves to walk are drawn to the wall it stands against, not to the mattress label.
A bed is the largest piece in most bedrooms, so it sets the proportion, the calm and the comfort of the whole room. Choosing one well in Dubai means starting with the room and the way you actually sleep, not with a style picked in isolation.
Start with the room.
Measure the wall the bed will sit against, the circulation around it and the ceiling height before anything else. In many Dubai apartments a bed that is one size too large turns a calm room into a tight one. A well-proportioned bed leaves space to walk, to open wardrobes and to breathe. Size, height and headboard.
Decide the bed size from the room, then refine the mattress height so getting in and out feels natural. The headboard is where presence is won or lost. Too low and the bed feels temporary, too tall and it dominates. A considered headboard frames the person sitting up to read and anchors the wall behind it. Each bespoke bed can be drawn to the exact height and width the room asks for.
Materials that hold up.
Upholstery is selected from curated European collections, including French and Belgian mills, chosen for texture, colour depth and suitability for the project. For high-use bedrooms, upholstery with documented performance characteristics can be specified according to the brief. Comfort that lasts.
A bed is used every night for years, so its comfort has to be built in, not added on. A well-made frame and a considered base keep the mattress supported and the silhouette intact long after a softer, cheaper bed would have sagged. This is why proportion and construction come before decoration in everything we draw.
