Nothing is cut or upholstered until a client has chosen it, so a piece is built for a specific home rather than for a guess.

Where a piece is made matters as much as when. Saint Objets furniture is made locally, in the studio's own atelier in the Emirates, not imported from factories across the world. When it is finished, it travels from the atelier directly to the client's home.
That is a short journey, so a Saint Objets piece plainly carries far less transport than furniture shipped in from overseas. It is not a claim on a certificate, just the simple geography of making something near the person who will live with it.

The larger lever is longevity. The most sustainable piece of furniture is the one you keep, and a frame built to be re-covered rather than thrown away can outlast several trend cycles, so a piece is kept, not replaced.

None of this is a marketing position bolted on after the fact. It is the personal conviction of Sarah Koben, our Creative Director, who built the studio around the belief that a piece should be made only when it is wanted, made close to home, and made to last and to be lived with safely.

It lets you specify a piece precisely, in the size and fabric your room actually needs, so it fits and lasts instead of being replaced.
