Contemporary Furniture House Dubai

Saint Objets Studio Β Β·Β  Dubai Β Β·Β  Made to Order

Saint Objets is a contemporary furniture house in Dubai, producing pieces that sit between design object and everyday furniture, made with slow materials and slower methods.

Contemporary design, as the studio understands it, is not about trend. It is about clarity of form, honesty of material, and the discipline to make less but make it better. Every sofa, bed, and rug produced here is a direct expression of that position.

The studio works in limited series and single commissions. Nothing is produced at volume. Nothing is anonymous.

The Studio's Approach

Proportions draw from the European decorative tradition. Finishes are adapted for Gulf interiors. Materials, solid hardwoods, natural leathers, hand-tufted wools, are chosen for the decades they will serve rather than the season they belong to.

Designed in Paris, Made in the Emirates

The studio draws in Paris and builds in the Emirates. This dual origin, European sensibility, Gulf construction, defines the work. Pieces are proportioned for villa rooms and high-ceiling spaces common to Dubai.

Contemporary furniture is not defined by its moment but by how well it ages.

Commission a Piece

Every piece is made to order. Dimensions, materials, and finishes are adjusted to the room and the client. Lead time is six to ten weeks from confirmation.

Materials and finishes

Every Saint Objets piece is finished in materials specified to a brief and traceable to source. Performance velvet, bouclΓ©, and refined vegan leather are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified by their European mills. Belgian linen is available on request, with documented mill traceability. Frames are kiln-dried hardwood or structured plywood. Foams are dense European polyurethane with a ten-year structure expectation. Pet-safe and child-safe by default; certification numbers shared on request.

Frequently asked questions

What does designer furniture mean at Saint Objets?

Designer furniture is built from a sketch, specified to a materials brief, and produced by an atelier. Saint Objets approaches every piece as a one-off commission against an interior. We do not stock; we make to order. The result is a piece sized for the room, finished to a specified standard, and signed by the same studio.

How are your fabrics sourced?

European mills only. Performance velvet, bouclΓ©, refined vegan leather are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified by default. Belgian linen is available on request. Italian wool, French velvet, and custom mill colourways are quoted individually.

Are your pieces made to last?

Yes. Frames are kiln-dried hardwood or structured plywood. Joinery is dowelled, glued, and screwed. Foams are dense European polyurethane with a ten-year structure expectation. Covers are removable for renewal. The atelier holds drawings on file so a piece can be re-upholstered or repaired across decades.

Can I see and feel materials before commissioning?

Yes. Saint Objets receives clients by private appointment in Dubai. The fabric library covers the working swatch range and ships samples on request to clients further afield in the UAE.

How do payments work?

Fifty per cent deposit at order, fifty per cent before delivery. Card, bank transfer, and Tamara split payments accepted. Larger commissions can be staged by appointment.
