A villa is furnished room by room, but it should read as one hand. For a private residence in Emirates Hills, we developed the furniture and the interior direction together, so the house feels composed rather than collected.
One studio, end to end.
The drawing comes first, in Paris. Then the hardwood frame, the layered comfort and the fabric, made to the dimensions of each room in the Emirates. We carry the development, the fabrication, the rugs, the delivery and the installation, so one studio is responsible for the result.
Pieces drawn for their place.
Nothing is a showroom piece. Each sofa was drawn for the room it sits in, its curve set to the architecture and its colour chosen for the light the space receives. The result is furniture that belongs to the house rather than furniture placed in it.
Made to live with.
Every object is built to last and to be lived in, in materials chosen for daily life. From the first sketch to the final installation, the residence was developed as one continuous piece of work. Designed in Paris. Crafted in the Emirates.
